In looking at the pictures here, perhaps you'll get a feel for the type of trail this is. It's not traditional singletrack but the only MTB trail near this spot is about 22 miles north at Hidden Valley recreation area (see ride report at this link) north of Ely, MN.
I didn't get a shot of the new trail exit that I found but maybe next time.
UPDATE: It appears this trail is turning into a hiking trail and park. This may very well be the last time you see a ride report on this trail.
